Time for a stroll

I come often to this small reserve, mainly to watch and photograph water birds. The first frost has covered the water with a thin layer of ice and the birds have abandoned the place.
Fortunately there is also a nice beech forest nearby, and this leave covered path invited for a stroll in the rays of the low winter sun.

Wow , Han what a wonderful image. Great atmosphere and beautiful colors. No nits it’s just right !

Han, this has some great lighting and I love the tree tunnel over the path with the fence border. I would love to see this from a lower perspective to really accentuate the path, but other than that, nice work!

Thanks @Ben_van_der_Sande and @David_Mullin for your kind comments.
Good suggestion, David, to lower the camera to accentuate the path. Too often I forget to leave the more comfortable position

David is right, but what goes down must go up again.

This is so nice and I too would love to go for a stroll there! Your image makes it very inviting so yes, the composition does work for me.

Beautiful and inviting scene, Han. The low angled light really sets this off nicely. Well done.

Thanks @David_Bostock , @Ola_Jovall and @Tom_Nevesely for viewing and commenting.
Glad you like it.

Han, the lighting is beautiful and the scene is inviting. I agree with the suggestion of shooting from a lower viewpoint. I also think it would be a stronger image if the path was not so close to the right edge. As it is composed, it seems to me to be more about the fence than the path.
