David, one couldn’t ask for a better pose this this Towhee gave you. Those bright eyes, the head turn, just makes this shot really special. The perch and background is a nice bonus. Very nice shot.

Excellent, David. This perch works very well and I love the pose with bot of those red eyes showing.

That’s a very cool head on pose David with a great perch. I think it would also work well as more of a vertical/squarish crop with some taken from the left.

A lovely shot of the towhee. It is really nice that you got both eyes with some highlights. Well done. Perch is a dandy as is bg.

Good timing on the pose; nice to see both of those red eyes. Background and perch are pleasing as well.

Great catch. This could be an example in a field guide.

Great look at the bird. Love the pose. Looks like it was sidelit? You handled that well. I always love your mossy perches. The BG is pretty bright. I’d consider trying to tone it down a bit.

Picture perfect! I love the pose and its gaze going right at us. Beautiful contrasting and blurry background. Great job!
