The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Another one from the rose garden yesterday. Most, if not all, of the red roses were past their prime even though there were unopened buds on the bushes. This one that was dangling down from the weight of the water turned out to be the best looking one I saw and I liked the inverted look, so I didn’t flip it up in processing.

Specific Feedback

Id didn’t hang exactly straight, but I liked the slight angle so I left it that way. Does it work for you? Any other comments are appreciated.

Yes, Dennis, it works for me. There is beauty in the “weight” of the water–almost a “hang in there” despite the challenge. I could put this on the wall above my desk as a reminder that life is all good if we look at it that way.

It works for me, too. The heaviness comes through well and the detail is really nice though the leaves and the petals. The bg is nicely OOF and I think you’ve got nice color gradation and separation in the flower. An unusual take on a favorite subject.
