I found this while taking a walk waiting to pick up my wife who had a medical appointment. I didn’t have all of the equipment with me I would have if I knew I would find an interesting subject.

Wonderful! The light is soft and the detail and color so nice. I don’t see that having to handhold hurt you here – but I certainly relate to that feeling of wanting all my stuff with me! (Not likely it will ever happen.)
Isn’t that always the way? But at least you had something and an eye for these kinds of scenes. Great color in this batch. Somehow the ones I find are never so bright. You dealt with the limited focus quite well by placing it on that closest moss and mushrooms. Super.
Don, this is a good looking batch of Turkeytails in an interesting environment. The stripes and colors are quite dramatic and nicely clear. The bits of bright green and orange add well.
