Here’s a more conventional blurred motion view… This is a Black and White Warbler bathing in the stream that connects my two backyard ponds. I’ve cropped this to 8.5 x 11 to tighten the view of the flying water drops. (7D2, 100-400 @ 400, 1/1600 s, f/9, iso 1600, tripod)
I love this photo Mark. Such a great reflection of how summer feels. The detail in the water droplets is superb. Plus how can you not just smile looking at this little fellow. Nicely done and a great capture.
Great stop action shot, and perfect for the WC, Mark. As Linda said, great details in the droplets too. I like that I can see motion in his head turning. Excellent shot.
Rather late to this one, Mark, but I do like it. Odd that I didn’t think of posting something like this for this challenge. I like the specific shutter speed you used, so the drops were so clearly defined while the head is still blurred. Great colors in the pond as well.
