Water on Rose Leaves

There was too much beauty to photograph on this day. Cliche or not, I’m a sucker for water drops.

Barbara, the red and green tones work well. I find myself wishing for sharpness in more of the drops in front, a smaller aperture MIGHT have helped that, although with this much magnification, closing the aperture doesn’t add a lot of dof.

@Mark_Seaver Thanks, Mark. In looking at it I see that I could actually cut the photo off just above the bottom group of leaves and have the same photo only smaller and sharper!

Lovely image! My only suggestion: a little more print below the bottom center leaf.

Hi Barbara. I love the red and green tones in this shot and those top water droplets look incredible. I don’t know whether conditions would have allowed it (would need to be no movement of the leaves) but focus stacking could have been an option but tricky to do with this specific subject.
