Since I tend to visit Long Beach regularly, my photos are from the area, especially waves.

Jim, your breaking wave shots really stand out, some for the action that they show, others for the colors in the water. Looks like a fine place to visit and revisit. The ice shot is a good small scene view.

All are really great shots, Jim, but like Mark those waves breaking really stand out to me.

Ice at Long Beach? A very nice collection of beachscapes, Jim! I’m kind of partial to #4 because of the frozen wave shapes and details.

Thanks, Mark, Shirley and Gary. Gary, this was Long Beach, Washington. The temperature was as low as 23 while we were there for Thanksgiving.

It’s amazing what variety you came away with shooting the waves from this location, it’s a fine collection. I did the same double take as @Gary_Minish about ice at Long Beach, assuming it was California, but Washington makes a lot of sense. My favorites are #4 and #6, i just love the color of that green water inside the waves themselves. But all of the wave images feature interesting light and color. This a location and subject that i could easily see visiting repeatedly. It’s a great collection that you present here, nice work. :+1: :+1: :+1:
