Wet Redbud bloom

After a brief, but nasty thunder storm blew through, the sky cleared and I focused on the redbud blooms with water drops. This view emphasizing a single bloom and the view through a water drop is at nearly 2x magnification. (7D2, 180mm macro, 56mm extension tubes, tripod)

Mark: Wonderful refraction in the big drop and overall a nice herald of Spring. Exceptional handling of a challenging rig. You’ve done some really nice things with your redbuds. :+1: :+1:>=))>

Oh Mark, this is just a delight. I just love how you captured refractions in the rain drops. The color of the blooms are a treat to the eyes as well. Very well seen and captured. :+1: :+1:

Hi Mark, really nice colors with a fine background to set off the blooms. I really like the water drops especially the one with the reflection. I think I would clone out the out of focus water drop next to the largest drop - it just looks odd to me and doesn’t add to the image. Well done.
