Description

taken on a local pond which attracts a lot of wood ducks. Taken from a boardwalk about 4 feet above the water. Wish I could get lower. I like the color water reflections with the green on top mirroring the blue on bottom.

I like how the rear Wood Duck is so well covered by the near one-takes a few seconds to realize what’s going on and that’s goodness to me. I’m not sure about the pano crop. If there’s not too much junk in the way, I could see a little more room vertically, but I know that pond tends to have a lot of stuff that requires cloning or cleaning up some other way.

Very cool – no nits! I like the pano crop as the duck’s head is down and it feels like he is trying to fit into the frame. The lovely greens in the water above the ducks gives enough feel for the distant BG to suit me. Excellent!

Thanks, thanks so much for looking

Hi David, nice catch of this action. Good colors on the birds and exposure looks fine. I like the pano crop too.
