Description
I went out to shoot mushroom with 4 other people a few days ago, bringing only my macro lens. I shot mushrooms for a little while, mostly with my cell phone and then was drawn to little things that no one else even noticed. One of those was the dew drops hanging from the spanish moss. After editing this, I decided to flip it vertically and really liked the effect it produced.

I was thinking the same thing as @Bill_Fach while looking at the image, it really does remind me of tethered balloons. Great find and capture, Chris, and a wonderful imagination.
A great abstract and very different from the run of the mill. I like the water droplet lenses that give you the remainder of the photo including the rhs tree. I thought it was taken through the glass of a fish tank and the water droplets were actually bubbles.
Hi Chris! I love this image! It is so unique and well done. As Bill said, flipping was a great artistic choice. I like what Rob said about the water drop acting like a lens to see beyond the image - very cool! The fingers of the moss grasping the water drops look like a jewelry setting holding a pearl.
Chris, this does look like water drops on moss growing up from the ground, with your flip. I too like the how the lower part of the drops show us what behind. Well seen and well presented.
