A lovely image, Kathy. The flower itself is very well done and I love the background. My only nit is that the brighter pink of the lowest blob tends to pull my eye a bit.
Kathy: Marvelous comp and capture and a fine rendition. I see Dennis’ point about the light BG area but if he had not mentioned it I doubt that I would have noticed. Many kudos.>=))>

I took a look at it based on Dennis’ comment and took it back into PS, created a multiply layer and painted that pink area a bit. Then, I decided if I did that, it needed a slight off center vignette, so I painted that in too.

You are doing great with the textures and backgrounds to enhance the impact of the flower. Nicely done.
Lovely image, Kathy, with the flower standing out beautifully from the bg. Actually I prefer your original, as I find the stronger bg begins to overshadow the flower colour.
The movement in the background creates a beautiful contrast with the static subject. I love the photo re posted and I am not able to find nits.
