This image was made in the spring in Yosemite Valley. This is Bridal Veil Falls with the late afternoon sun creating a rainbow that ran up the falls.

Joey: Brings back great memories for me. My first trip to Yosemite was in 2001 and I got a very similar shot that I was considering posting if I can find the scan. My shot was on film in my pre-digital days.
I love the color and also your rendering of the cliff face. The SS is effective as well. Beautiful scene superbly captured. >=))>
I really like this image. I love the placement of the waterfall in the scene that shows its location without losing focus on the waterfall. It is also really nice how the colors of the rainbow interact with the color of the trees. Really beautiful.
A nice capture Joey, especially the chaos of the base of the falls. For me, I must say the rainbow is too subtle. The photo is more about the falls.
Joey, the soft, nicely spread out colors in the mistbow add a lot to this good looking view of Bridal Veil Falls.
