Shawn, I have seen these in my backyard garden and wondered what I was seeing. It looked like debris moving around. It was pretty small, so I couldn’t tell what it was. Thank you for clearing that up. I have flowers very similar to this one so evidently they like them. I like the composition but could see adding a little more room to the top, if you have it. Nicely done and I appreciate you sharing this and what it is. Solved a mystery for me.

Very interesting. I agree with @Shirley_Freeman’s suggestion to add space on top. If not possible, or at the same time, I’d crop about 20% off the bottom - that chewed petal pulls my eye a little. But the insect really is fascinating.
