Cape Arago Dawn

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

In October of 2023 I made a trip to the Oregon Coast with the intention of using my newly acquired drone to shoot the lighthouses from the ocean side. I started from the north and worked my way south and was able to shoot Tillamook Rock, Cape Meares, Yaquina Head and some at Heceta Head. I had to pass on the Yaquina Bay light as it was in a no fly zone. Midway through the trip I managed to do something stupid and crashed and lost the drone. Clearly an unforced error but at least I had insurance and was able to replace it. I came back this past October and started from the south and was able to complete the project. This is the Cape Arago light near Coos Bay. It’s on a small inaccessible island but easily seen from the air. The ocean was fairly calm which precluded any strong wave action but the upside was the clarity of the water and I could even hear the seals in the RLC serenading each other from where I was standing.

Specific Feedback

Enhanced the sky a tiny bit with Luminar Neo. I don’t like to go crazy with AI but subtle touches can help if not overdone. Your thoughts?

Bill, the lighting, clarity and long distance view here are outstanding. The color shifts in the water also add a lot of interest.
