Description
Bouddi National Park never ceases to amaze with its geological marvels, and this sandstone texture is a prime example. The intricate stratification in the rock represents millions of years of sediment deposition, compression, and erosion. The darker bands indicate periods of high iron content, while the lighter layers suggest a dominance of quartz and feldspar. The natural forces at play—wind, water, and time—have sculpted this rock into a stunning visual tapestry.

Another beautiful abstract from this formation, Saundie. I really like the way it resembles a series of windows leading into the distance. I could see a bit more room on the right, if possible as the edge of the second layer gets perilously close to the edge of the frame(might be covered by the mat in a print).

Thanks for the positive and constructive feedback! I opened the crop as much as I could. I know it’s not much, but I think it helps.
Good call Dennis on suggesting a bit more room on the right edge. The reworked version looks great Don! Good to see another excellent abstract image from you. Fascinating layers and study of geology. Echo is a good description. The repeating arced lines and tonal transitions are superb.
