Description

I like getting inflight shots of the hummers but it’s a challenge. I got this pose yesterday and was delighted to get her beautiful fanned tail.

A very nice catch on the flared tail, Dave. I’m surprised the wings have that much blur at 1/1600th, but that’s probably part of the flare.

Like @Dennis_Plank I am surprised 1/1600 sec did not stop the wings, That is crazy FAST! BTW, nice composition.

I double checked the SS and it is at 1/1600th. Amazing.
