Beautiful shot Mario, I’m loving soft subtle colors and the overall peaceful mood. I can’t see anything that I would change :beers:

There is a lot to like here; however, I would like to have seen more of the overall image in focus. Right now it would seem that only the front 1/3 of the image is sharp. You could overcome this by stopping down to f/11-f/16 or by focus stacking. I personally use Helicon Focus, which you can get at a discount here as an NPN member! =)

Lastly, I like the complimentary colors between the foreground and the clouds, so that’s nice! =)

Agree with @Matt_Payne - probably because I want to see the birds in more detail (not a good reason!). That’s a beautiful, peaceful sky.

Appreciate all the comments @Blake_Randall @Matt_Payne @Mike_Friel . This was handheld and could not focus stack but the f stop suggestion is a good one. Repost has some selective local sharpening to try and resolve at least partially the focus issue. I think it helped. Thoughts

Another great image from your trip Mario. What immediately stands out is the sky and the foreground flowers. The magenta really pops. I love the color in the water too. In general, I would like to see more sharpness front to back, particularly in the bird, but it’s certainly not a deal breaker. You have really soft light and this is composed really nicely. I’m generally not a fan of 50/50 split landscapes but this one works nicely.

THnak you David @David_Haynes for your comments. Yes I wish I had used a tripod and focus stacked in retrospect.

Mario,

What a beautiful coastal/seascape image. I really like your near/far composition and as already mentioned, the colors are wonderful - especially how the color in the flowers is picked up in the clouds. Simply a very beautiful and enjoyable landscape image.

I think the repost is a definite improvement on the sharpness, although it wasn’t a deal breaker for me - but for sure I think the extra sharpening improves this overall. The important thing there is that the flowers in the LL have good detail and this area is where my eye went first… so 1st impression is a good one here.

This has some interesting elements to it. For some reason I like that green rocky mound. The composition of the flowers doesn’t work for me as they seem to be indiscriminately cut off at the bottom. That bothers me more than the sharpness.

This is beautiful Mario. I mentioned in my comment on one of your other images that i liked the way that the color in the flowers compliments the color in the sky. I think this image conveys that connection very well.
