Groundhog Pound MMA - Two Images

Stare Down

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

The poor marmot on the bottom could get no relief for at least twenty minutes while we watched the action at the top of the Whistler, BC, Canada gondola. The slightly larger marmot, shown on top here just kept after it, chasing it all over the open gravel area, and even under, and up the stairs of a shed. This is more of my MMA, Marmot Martial Arts series.

Specific Feedback

I would love to hear what you think, does this evoke any emotions, or empathy with one, or(?) the other of the marmots?

Hopefully this was a teaching or playing moment. Maybe practice for the MMA.LOL. After 20 min of fighting with those teeth, it seems someone would really be hurt. That nose to nose shot says it all. The one on the Lt. is bigger, he wins. That must have been a lot of fun to watch! Thanks :grinning:

Thanks a bunch Skip, @SkipsPics. It was a lot of fun, and this was the second time I’ve seen two marmots going at it like this. One was over in Jasper NP a long time ago.
