The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This will be the first of a series of water lily shots that I took at the Lowes Water Gardens in northwest Houston. (not the big box store, but rather a mom and pop paradise) It is also a haven for dragonflies so I’m drawn there frequently.>=))>
Specific Feedback
Almost all of these are single capture, thus some of the high f-numbers. I don’t see any diffraction related image effects.

Beautiful bloom, Bill and beautifully photographed. The composition works well for me and the color is awesome. I’m guessing this was on a tripod at that shutter speed? Though if the manufacturer’s claims are to be believed, we should be able to hand hold a 1 second exposure with no problem.
Dennis: Old habits die hard so my camera practically lives on a tripod. About the only time I hand hold is if I’m chasing a butterfly or uncooperative dragonfly. I have a fairly steady hand but I find it hard to get the fine comp adjustments I want for stationary macro/flora/landscape images hand held. >=))>
The color is fantastic. I might darkthe triangular green area in the lower LH corner as there is a light diagonal line that catches my eye. Other than that, this one will look impressive on the wall…Jim
