This is really good and it has a very unique look, it’s the lighting that makes it so mystic and the color that makes it sort of “Pop”. It’s like a still image taken from a movie (I know it wasn’t).
I am very curious about the lighting situation, was it overcast, then selectively darkened and saturated?

I was on a guide boat in the swamp almost sunset. Herons seem to like to be right where the light hits the water on the edge of the dark swamp.

What a great setting for this heron, it almost seems to be part of the tree. The image has a painting-like feel to me, and I mean that in a positive way. Nice one! Hans
