Image Description
This is one of my colorful ice abstracts converted to black and white. After the conversion, the name came to me because of the change in shape between the left (almost) half with its lines and the right half with its “blobs”. You can also see how the line of vertical bubbles change from bright to dark across the frame.
Feedback Requests
I tried the b&w conversion on a number of my ice abstracts and rarely liked the result. This is one of a small number where the shapes and textures had enough interest to work on their own without the colors. This is a fun and challenging exercise because it take the main idea of an abstract image and adds another level of abstraction.
