I debated about a tighter crop…

Pertinent Technical Details

From 2010. Canon 5D2, Sigma 180 macro. at f/6.7, ISO 100. Focus stack (limited) from back when it was harder to do – incremented focus manually with the focus ring. Colors were not very interesting but I liked it in B/W.

Very cool! I like your perspective, and the crop is perfect. Detail is great for this tough stack, and the water droplets, epecially the closest one in perfect focus, are very appealing.
Fine work!

Diane, you did a nice job capturing that droplet, and the rest in in focus enough we know what it is but not to distract from the droplet. I like it in B&W.

Thanks, @SandyR-B and @Shirley_Freeman! I love it when I come across some of these older images that still hold their own.

rainy days here are for digging through old files and playing with Photo Art!

Hi Diane, I like the shapes and textures here. Really nice contrasting structures. Black and white looks good. Well done.

Diane this is a cool cholla cactus shot, where were you that you found one with dew? Just kidding. Nice catch on the water drops and interesting composition. I would like it better if the focus had a bit more depth. Good treatment in B&W.

Thanks, @SandyR-B, @Allen_Sparks and @Ed_Williams! I would like more DOF too – focusing and general sharpness is so much better these days! I’ll have to keep my eyes open for another chance.

Works perfect in black and white. !!! The Depth of Field really works making the eye go right to the center. Beautiful Tone and great lines. Black and White is my favorite style and this really works great. Very Cool !!!
