Oh these are lovely. Onion flowers are always so interesting and they make great little seed pods and things after they’re done blooming. I really like the gentle colors in this shot - quite harmonious. The tall stems give us a sense of scale and there is enough crisp detail in the flower clusters. Possibly a little more room at the top would be nice as it feels a tad cramped. I really like the center stripe up each petal - I wonder how they look under infrared…bee landing strips?

Allen, the details in the flowers and their separation from the background show them off very well. I agree that a bit more space at the top (or a slight lifting of the entire view) would be good. I do like the long stems and your choice to keep the flowers near the top of the frame.

Allen: Really nice light and color palette especially. I think the inner stroke in your frame creates the illusion of a cramped top. I also would be sorely tempted to make the OOF echo on the upper bloom go away. I think it distracts a bit without adding much. >=))>
