Beautiful image, Balan. This could inspire an entire horror movie with that mostly hidden body and those four eyes just peeking out.
I love spider eyes. Seeing these with the bright catchlights is really cool!
Balan, I love how you use the smallest of apertures to get these ghostly effects. I might consider cloning out the faint leafage directly to the left of the spider, and even the bright leaf end along the left border, for added minimalism. I love the curves of the leaf it’s sitting on. Super composition too.
I love those eyes, Balan. I like the way he is peaking over the leaf. When I first looked at the image I was okay with the leaf on the left that @Mike_Friel suggested cloning out, but the more that I look at it, removing it might improve the image. I like that the leaves and surrounding area is dark, and it is all about the face and eyes of the spider. Great Shot and a wonderful subject!
Balan: A great find in great conditions. A tighter crop solves the leaf problem for me and gives the spider a touch more prominence. Top notch shot. >=))>
I like Bill’s crop, Balan, indeed now the attention goes entirely to the eyes. I think it’s a funny image… like one of the many street cameras these days… barely visible… but you are being watched!
