I don’t recall seeing it before, so I don’t think you have posted it before. These guys have the cutest faces, IMO. I like that you appear to be at his eye level. I wonder if you were to crop a bit off the right (unless you have more room on the left), just to get him a little off-center. His attention seems to be to the left like he might be ready to exit the scene in that direction. If while editing it, you might consider removing the fine line of red right below him that runs between petals. I find it a bit distracting from this cutie. Nice shot.
Balan: Terrific spider shot as always. I love the red color palette. Agree that a small crop from the right might be a nice touch. Most excellent. >=))>
Oh, I like what Bill did. I didn’t realize that was part of the petal I was seeing because it was so dark, so now it doesn’t need removing. The Jumping Spider is tack sharp where it needs to be.
I agree that Bill’s crop makes this even better. You caught the spider on such an interesting plant, with the petal seeming to shield its head. Another fine shot, Balan!
Thats exactly what this forum stands for. A multi faceted perspective. my mind was slightly tilted towards adding the petals in the frame, and circle of confusion.
Balan, this view of the spider is excellent with great details in the spider surrounded by the red glow of the leaves. Dodging that leaf behind it adds well to the top/bottom balance.
