Stephanie, this is fine abstract. I like the mood created by the darkness and the blueness and how the scattered highlights set off the rest of the view.

Stephanie: Oh this is well seen! Welcome to Macro and thanks for a fine first post here. I love the mystery in this and the “What is this?” factor is pretty high and even with your explanation it’s still hard to visualize. Really good work and looking forward to more from you and your comments on other’s images. >=))>

Thank you very much—I’m glad you like it.

I understand  I’ll now start commenting on the other pictures…

Hello Mark - thank you for your kind comment —I’m glad you like it.

An excellent puddle abstract, Stephanie. I really like the shapes and the color is wonderful.

This is a wonderful image with very interesting mystery – well photographed and presented! Welcome to NPN!! I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Thank you very much Dennis for your kind comment

Diane thank you for your warm welcome

Excellent image Stephanie! I like the composition and the balance of elements. There is also a lot of different patterns and colors that keep you engaged in the photo, very well done!

The image has wonderful detail. It has a surprisingly three-dimensional quality for an ice picture. A great abstract photo, Stephanie.

Hi Scott thank you for your positive comment – I am glad that you like it!

Hi Kathrin, it always seems so easy to find structures like this, but then it isn’t. You can only take each picture once…I’m glad you like it.

Hi Stephanie,
I love the color palette of this: cool steel blue. It’s one of my favorite colors and it’s not a common one in nature photography. The triangles combine with the subtly teardrop shapes to make this wonderfully angular and fluid. Nice work!

Thank you very much for your nice comment!

This is gorgeous - well taken. I use the OM1 so am curious which lens did you use?

Hi Mike, thank you very much. Normally I use the 40-150 mm 1:2.8 Pro, but in this case I used the 12-100 1:4 Pro

A really neat find and captured very well, Stephanie. You are right, we need to look down sometimes when we are out with our cameras. Welcome to NPN. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos and reading your comments.

Thank you Shirley for your warm welcome..I will try my best

And I’ll pop back in with a congratulations on the EP – very well-deserved!!
