Sometimes I think about all the truly gorgeous sunrises and sunsets I’ve seen—many real markers in life—and how easy it is to not let it sink in that without the sun, we’d not be. Regardless of “sailor’s delight” or “beware”, or even whether or not I have a camera in hand (this on an iPhone 8), these kinds of skies always touch something in me.

John: The best camera is the one you have with you. For a long time I had a hard time remembering that I had a camera with me at all times and as phones have become more competent they have become very viable tools. I love skies like this as well and would definitely have pulled out the phone. Nice capture of a wonderful moment. >=))>
