Hi Diane, I really like this. The use of contrasting light throughout the image makes for a very intriguing scene. Being able to see the grass underwater is a big plus along with the use of highlights (glare) on the surface. Well done to see the potential here - I’m sure I would have walked right past it without seeing the possibilities.

Diane, like Allen, I really like this, and I too would have missed seeing it looking for something more obvious. You managed this very well to be able to see the grass beneath the water. Excellent shot.

Diane: Well seen indeed and a testament to keeping open eyes and mind to the photographic possibilities in any environment. Top notch shot. :+1: :+1:>=))>

Hello, Diane. This is super. I always love the way slender grasses interact with water, and the detail of the surface tension around the blades. The light is perfect to show that.

Diane, the abstract qualities in this view work very well. The glow of the reflections is very attractive and the fact that you can see somewhat through the water adds both interest and context. Nicely seen.

Thanks, everyone! I’m grateful I found it! I was limited in where I could plant the tripod, but it worked out well.
