It seemed like the incessant rain, mist and fog wouldn’t let up for a single minute during the two days I spent on the Homer Spit in Alaska. But when it did clear a little I was able to get some shots of the mountain peaks on the Kenai Peninsula, briefly appearing through the low-lying clouds.

Ted: Wonderful scene and a nice way to recover the day. My first impression was to wish for the peak to be not so much in the center and thought that a 15-20% crop from the right side would fix it but then you lose some of those wonderful ridge lines in the RLC so never mind. The birds are a nice bit of icing on a fine cake. >=))>
Thank you Bill for taking the time to look at the image and comment. I think a lot of photographers always avoid placing the main subject in the center, but I will do it from time to time. It all depends on the feel of the image, and in this case I thought it works. I like the birds too.
