Sphinx Moth

This morning was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to catch this moth with the camera. Seen at a local community gardens in the zinnia patch.

An excellent in flight capture of this moth, Allen. The details in the moth are great. I love that I can see the shadow of the moth on the flower. Nice background just makes the moth and the flower stand out. These guys are very fast, so my compliments on the stop action right over the flower as he checks it out. :+1::+1:

Allen, this is a great look at this moth and flower, with excellent details in both. This zinnia patch looks like a major pollinator attraction site.

Allen: Great action shot with the wing position and proboscis extended. Terrific BG as well. Many kudos :+1::+1:>=))>
