Not many curves, but the glacier makes a nice one, I think.

I struggled a bit with the colour balance. At first, it was too neutral to me, so I cooled the image considerably. In the end I thought it was too blue, so the posted image is somewhere in between.

Beautiful photo! The composition is wonderful and the complimentary blue and gold is very pleasing to my eye. It’s always a struggle with snow to get the blue amount “just right”, which I think is impossible actually. It is so subjective. I love the photo as is, but if it were mine I might tone down the blue a bit.

Han: What a spectacular scene with jaw dropping lighting. The atmospherics add so much as well. I might warm this up a tiny bit but this is mostly glacial ice so the blue doesn’t bother me much. Superbly crafted image.>=))>

Han, now that’s a big curve! Yes, my initial reaction was that it’s a bit blue, but on further thought, glaciers are notorious for being blue and most of this one is in the shade, which adds even more blue. So I think you’ve got the color balance right.

Thank you for your comments, @Tony_Siciliano , @Bill_Fach and @Mark_Seaver .
I’ll play a bit with selective desaturation of the blue in the ice and compare the results with the current post
