Wild Iris

My rare posting in this great gallery. Out shooting birds at the local wild life refuge and came upon these wild irises.

Allen: A great find and fine capture in less than ideal light. I’m your opposite in that I’m usually hunting flowers and if a bird makes itself available I do what I can. Using a diffuser or some other way of blocking the direct light would tame the BG. Sometimes I’ll even use my own shadow if possible to block the sun. >=))>
