Emotive sensual rose even in winter

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

The freezing nights can create pleasant shapes and sensual colors in the strongest roses that can bloom even in winter. I choose a rather dark light for been able to extract from the petals the beautiful still warm colors of a rose that should have born yellow and red.

Specific Feedback

I admired in this flower the warm colors in a very cold environment and a feeling of emotion. Could I make them better?

This is beautiful - warm enough to heat up the coldest winter night. I cannot critique this, it’s too good for me.

As always in your floral images, the light is incredible, Giuseppe. I find your images so stunning that it’s difficult to look for improvements. However I took the time to examine this one carefully and there is a lighter band behind one petal edge that feels a little strange to me and you might want to modify it. I took the liberty of downloading your image and indicating the area that caught my attention.

@Mike_Friel, @Dennis_Plank thanks for your pleasant comments, I am glad that you like an image of my retutn to the flower.
@Dennis_Plank thanks for your good sight at the flower, I have already put in act your suggestion. I wanted to lighten a shade too dark but the work was imperfect.

This is really interesting and hauntingly beautiful. So glad you made the effort to catch it at this stage. Fantastic light to bring up all the contour and texture. I like the mystery and the sense of time passing. Rich colors, too.

@Kris_Smith I am glad you felt a sense of mystery because the mystery often accompanies the emotion wich was my intent. Thanks for your appreciation.

Gigi, I’m SO pleased you went back to find your floral images!
This is stunning- the light, colours, and dark BG are just perfect.
Your usual very fine work!

Gigi: You know I love this! The return of a master is a cause for celebration IMO. Terrific lighting of a compelling and beautiful subject. Bravo! >=))>

@SandyR-B, @Bill_Fach I am so glad that you like this flower so much. Thanks for your gratifying words.

@Dennis_Plank I have posted the flower without the mistake that you have reported. Thanks.

Superb job on the repost, Giuseppe.
