The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Its web is only 2-3 inches across - and I doubt if it sees these colors. It catches minuscule flies, which it then packages and stores in the web. This species lives horizontally on top of ornamental bushes grown by farmers in Korea to sell for gardens, parks or graves. Its silk seems to refract the light better than that of any other spider I’ve found here.
Specific Feedback
I’d like a bit more color to the right, but the sun’s rays seldom - if ever - provide an all-round performance.
Technical Details
D500 + 105mm macro 1/1250 f4 ISO 160
Adjusting of tonalities in Lightroom, then in PS experimenting with the Highlights, Curves and Color Balance sliders. Minor cropping at the end.

You did it again! That rainbow refraction (?) is stunning. Plus our wee web weaver in the center. I wonder what it is about this spider’s silk that makes it so different from others. Diet and exercise? LOL. I can’t think of anything to improve this. If you wanted, you could use the Color tool in Lr to add a specific color to that side of the scene if you wanted. You can use it with a mask and it looks like this -
That little rectangle with the x through it is a color picker and whatever you pick can be added.
Mike: As an optics guy I’m amazed at the color reflections off the web and as a photographer I’m amazed at the image itself and the skill to pull it off. Superbly crafted image in every way. >=))>
Incredible and wonderful!! You could have imaged the event horizon of a black hole!! (It seems they come in a variety of sizes now…) Maybe the spider had been eating psychedelic mushrooms? No nits!!
