Beautiful, Giuseppe. That shallow depth of field works wonders and the focus on the bee is superb.

This is a really neat image, Giuseppe. The shallow DOF calls all the attention to the body of the bee. I normally would like to see the eyes of the subject, but the way his head is hidden leaves a sort of mystery to the image. It seems it is all about the bee since that is where most of the sharpness is, so I would say Macro is a good place for it. Well done!

Guiseppe, this is a fine look at early spring. It’s very enjoyable to see the bee diving deep into the flower and it tells a good story. The small subject, says Macro, plus at least in the past many contributors to flora objected to having insects appear in their flower pictures.

Gigi: My thoughts echo Shirley. This emphasizes that this is one busy bee who is not interested in posing for a portrait. For me the bee is the primary subject with the flower as a supporting element so I think Macro is the better choice. I personally like certain party crashers in Flora images so don’t hesitate to post flowers with tiny critters aboard.>=))>

@Dennis_Plank, @Shirley_Freeman, @Mark_Seaver, @Bill_Fach thanks to all now I know what the right criteria are. Four Moderators who answer my question it’s an honor. Thanks again.
