Update

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I took the macro out today to see just how close I could get. At the same time, I wanted to be at the same level as my subject.

Specific Feedback

is some of the background distracting. I was not sure about the part behind her but wanted to leave it because the flower was holding her in place.

Technical Details

Canon r7 rf 100 f/2.8 macro 1/1250 f/11 ISO 3200 EV-0.33 I have been staying with high ISO as suggested. No Crop here. Added a slight vignette.

Dean: You got really close if this is full frame with a 100mm lens! Marvelous detail and management of the focal plane. Most excellent. >=))>

Hi Dean. I like the composition and the pose. You might brighten the bee to help make it pop from the background a bit better.

Nice, Dean. I agree with @Dennis_Plank that lightening the bee may help make it pop from the BG. Nice details in the bee.

Thank you for the feedback, @Dennis_Plank , @Bill_Fach , and @Shirley_Freeman. I did brighten the bee some and put a little bit more on the vignette
